The Show considers you to be a junior if you are in one of the national curriculum year groups specified on the last day of the Summer Term 2011. "Preschool" includes those at Playgroup and Nursery. Juniors are primarily eligible for any classes in the divisions listed below, but class rules may also apply, and applicants are advised to check these first to make sure they are eligible. Work may be entered that has been done at school, nursery, playgroup, or at outside activities, as well as that produced at home.

Juniors may also enter adult classes, unless otherwise stated, but may NOT enter Junior classes intended for other age groups including older ones. A Junior's national curriculum year group must be entered on their entry form, and these must be signed by the parent/guardian certifying that the entries are entirely the Junior's own work.

Parents/Guardians/Grandparents/Friends, PLEASE NOTE that on Show Day, we advise that exhibits should be brought to the marquees by 09:15. It is easy to underestimate the time needed to locate the classes (especially if you have more than one junior entering) and display exhibits.

Pre-Show Colouring Competition:

Any junior may enter this competition. A template will be issued at Chalfont St Giles village schools/playgroup during the last week of term, and may be coloured in using any medium and returned as instructed on the template. A template can also be obtained from Chalfont Pets, Chalfont St Giles. The exhibits will be on display in the Arts and Crafts Marquee on Show Day and may be collected from there after 5pm. Prizes can be collected from the Committee Tent on Show Day. (Overall First Prize will be awardeed the Beekeepers Trophy)
