10k Multi-Terrain Run

The tradition of a run being held in Chalfont St Giles as part of the Village Show goes back to the early 1900s, but the current 10K Run was restarted back in 1993 with a multi-terrain, mostly cross country event, which has been held ever since (with the exception of 2008 when conditions were so muddy that the whole Show was very nearly cancelled!)

The Run begins in Stratton Chase Drive at 10:00am and traverses over the hills via woodland paths and farmland tracks, with breathtaking views towards Amersham, and back to the finish in Stratton Chase Drive.

There are awards for the top runners in each category, and a goody bag for all participants that will include an adult entry ticket to the Show. So why not take part in the Run and then join up with friends and family and attend the Show, where a great time awaits all!

All profits from the run are passed directly to Show funds from where surplus funds (often of several thousand pounds) are donated to local clubs, societies and charities at the Show's AGM later in the year.

This Run is open to all adults. So please tell your family and friends about it, have a go as an individual or make up a team and enter now!
